In 1947 Arturo Magni began his adventure in the world of motorbikes at the Gilera Racing Department, where he was hired with the specific task of assisting engineer Remor in the assembly of the new 4-cylinder racing engine.
This was followed by many years in the world of competition, most of which were spent in the MV Agusta Racing Department, where Arturo contributed to the winning of 75 world titles!
After MV Agusta retired from racing, Arturo started his own business in 1977, which led to the creation of numerous motorbike models.
Several events have been planned to celebrate these two anniversaries.
The first, already held in February at the Lyon trade fair Salon du 2 roues , saw the exhibition of 22 Magni motorbikes, from the first models to those currently in production.
The next event will be on June 10-12 for the Sunday Ride Classic 2022 at the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet.
For all owners of Magni motorbikes there will be a reserved box where the bikes will be exhibited, a demonstration parade on Sunday, as well as the possibility to perform 6 turns on the track.
For information and bookings, please contact Magni Owners Club contact person Patrice Leturgeon paleturgeon@aol.com by 20th May, or write to magni@magni.it.
Further information on the SRC event will be available on the official website www.sundayrideclassic.com.
On 9-10 July the appointment will then be in Cascina Costa for the 26th MV Agusta Revival and the 15th Magni Owners Meeting. The meeting, organised by the Moto Club Internazionale MV Agusta of Cascina Costa, will return this year after a two-year hiatus, with a programme that is still being defined.
